The Brief

We were appointed to create a duo of glamorous pendant lights for the master bedroom of a penthouse apartment in Belgravia – pieces that would be in keeping with the stylish interior design and provide a warm sparkling glow.

The Design

The bespoke pendants are constructed of over 150 Italian glass prisms that are situated within individual circular frames. Finished in a burnished bronze tone, each frame has a cleverly engineered laser-cut hook detail from which the glass elements are suspended. Housed around the inside edge of the framework is a continuous LED light source that allows each glass prism to glow and sparkle.

To complement the bedroom’s earthy palette, dark brown fabric envelopes the cables leading from the frame to the bronze-finished ceiling plate.

The elegant, custom-made lights are slightly different in size and overlap one another to form a beautiful focal feature that bathes the bedroom in warm glistening light.
