On the Wing Wins The Custom Lighting Award at the LIT Awards 2024

We are delighted to announce that On the Wing, our playful and poetic lighting design, has been awarded the Custom Lighting Award at the prestigious LIT Awards 2024. This recognition celebrates our dedication to creating bespoke lighting solutions that are as artistic as they are functional.

Inspired by the breathtaking sight of a murmuration of starlings in flight, On the Wing is a theatrical lighting piece that brings nature’s elegance indoors. Based on an original Nulty Bespoke commission, the installation features multiple hand-formed glass birds suspended at varying heights. These intricately crafted elements come together to recreate the fluid shape and movement of birds flying as one.

Handcrafted in the UK by skilled artisans, On the Wing is a testament to timeless design and exceptional craftsmanship. Each glass bird is unique, with light carefully positioned to highlight the individuality of every element, adding a sense of depth, character, and surprise to the final composition.

This award-winning piece is part of our core Collections range, which offers a variety of composition options to suit both intimate and grand dining spaces, as well as staircases requiring longer drop heights.
