We are delighted to welcome Michael Sillitoe and Euan Stewart to our growing team here in London. Michael has joined us in the role of Design Manager and Euan as Business Development Manager, both helping in our quest to craft unique light fittings befitting of luxury spaces.
Michael’s career has always involved the world of lighting and product design, beginning with a Bachelor of Arts in Product Design from Sheffield Hallam, and then moving on to get his MA in Design Products from the Royal College of Art.
He has produced luminaires and installations globally for the likes of Swarovski, David Gill Galleries and Isometrix. Michael loves to explore the challenges that light produces, especially where dynamic lighting technologies are concerned. All reasons as to why he is set to be a great fit for overseeing commissions and developing our collection of standard composition ranges.
Michael – “I see joining Nulty Bespoke as a wonderful opportunity to not only continue the wonderful work that the team has done to date, but to try to expand the studio and make exceptional and unique pieces that have not been seen before. I look forward to working closely with our clients to develop fruitful working relationships and, hopefully allow them to flex their design thinking beyond what is usually possible.”
Studying drawing and painting, Euan attended Edinburgh College of Art, before venturing down to the University of Brighton where he achieved his MA in Sequential Design and Illustration. Art is something that Euan still pursues, channelling his studies surrounding anatomy, identity and natural history into his drawing and print making. His work has been exhibited globally and is held in collections at the V&A, Fabriano Museum and the Wellcome Collection.
Euan has spent his career working with architects, interior designers and developers, forging relationships with those associated with high-end brands. With his background in art and design, as well as his extensive experience as a Sales Manager, working with the likes of Alma Leather, Euan will now bring his bright ideas to the world of lighting and work to grow the Nulty Bespoke portfolio globally.
Euan – “Joining Nulty Bespoke was a unique opportunity for me to move into lighting, which has always interested me due to my background in fine art printmaking. I bring 17 years’ experience of representing leather and fabric brands to the company and will be spreading the word of what we can offer to the A&D community in London and on an international scale. I’m really looking forward to working with Nulty Bespoke’s talented team of designers and craftspeople, as well as with our network of artisans.”
